Hours are 2AM-10AM Monday-Friday $16/HR
REQUIREMENTS:
- Verify and separate materials according to type, based on metal, by color, shape, size, marking, or other characteristics as established by company procedure; check for unacceptable materials.
- Places materials in bins, loads
- Organize and/or clean warehouse and yard as needed
- Operate mobile equipment including forklift/skid steer: Only for experienced candidates
- Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures
- Perform other routine tasks, duties, and responsibilities as assigned by Yard Manager/Supervisor.
- Ability to interact positively with all customers and co-workers
- Must be teachable.
- You must be able to learn the difference between metals and the processes of work.
- Overall, you should be a reliable candidate to show up and perform work duties on time.
- Able to operate in a demanding environment under a variety of climates and conditions
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to properly wear all required PPE equipment.
- Must have hard hat (Staffing Plus will provide) and steel-toed boots.
- Gloves and safety glasses are provided if you do not have your own.
- Ability to stand constantly throughout shift, walk constantly, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms) view monitor, speak and hear on a frequent basis.
- This role requires lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- The laborer is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
- Must be able to work out in the elements.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Employees will get dirty.
